  • 8 Local school garden and FFA programs supported through grants from the Seed Project Foundation

Sustainability

  • Harvest honored on the TxN 20 list two years in row (2019 and 2020) for a demonstrable commitment to conservation

  • 2.5 tons of restaurant waste diverted into compost annually at Water Boy Farms and McKinney Roots

  • ~2734 kWh saved per year using all LED bulbs to light the restaurants

  • Harvest and Rick’s Chophouse use all compostable takeout containers

Granted $300,000 to 44 local nonprofits through grants from the Seed Project Foundation

  • More than $170,000 in gift cards to Rick’s and Harvest donated to local fundraisers

 

Hospitality

The restaurants bring 150k visitors to Downtown McKinney every year

  • Rick’s Chophouse has been named in the Top 100 Restaurants in the D/FW area and one of Top Ten Southern/Texan restaurants in North Texas by Dallas Morning News

  • Rick’s has received over a hundred “Best of” Awards and the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for the last eleven years

  • Harvest Seasonal Kitchen was named in the Top Ten Best New Restaurants of the Year by the Dallas Moring News and Best New Restaurants by D Magazine
